Available in any size, for any pressure requirement, flush hatches are used to eliminate tripping hazards or where vehicular traffic may be present.
Rotating dogs compress the gasket against the frame to create a watertight seal. These dogs can be operated from either one or both sides. Handwheels mounted to the underside of the hatch can be used for quick-acting opening and closing. Removable T-wrenches are used to operate the dogs or handwheel spindle from the flush side.
The frames and coamings can be bolted to the existing surface, welded to an existing metal frame/channel, or embedded in newly poured concrete. Options include spring balancing or gas springs and hold open braces.
